As a nurse practitioner in the Division of Primary Care, I see patients from birth to age 22 for well visits and sick appointments. I enjoy making connections with my patients and families and building a relationship. There is great joy in watching my patients develop and grow!
As a child I was interested in pursuing a career in healthcare; however, I took a detour to marketing first. I knew my calling was to help others, so I entered nursing school. The career change has been very fulfilling. I love being in primary care because I work with families to discuss prevention of diseases as well as normal or abnormal development. I can serve as a resource for families and connect them with specialists if needed.
When I’m not working, I enjoy exercising, hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family. I’m married and have three young daughters.
