About

Biography

My clinical expertise lies in early childhood mental health, school-based counseling, and working collaboratively with families to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. While my clinical training initially focused on adult populations, my first role after graduate school was as an early childhood mental health therapist — a position that profoundly shifted my professional path. That experience ignited a deep and lasting passion for supporting young children and their families in building healthy relationships, emotional resilience and positive change.

I take a holistic and trauma-informed approach to care, grounded in the belief that every behavior is a form of communication. My work emphasizes meeting children and families where they are, honoring the unique needs of each child, and supporting the systems around them — including collaboration with school staff, teachers and administrators. I find great fulfillment in working within school-based settings, where I can partner directly with educators to help children thrive both emotionally and academically.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in counselor education and supervision, with the goal of contributing to the field through the training and mentorship of future counselors.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading, traveling and spending quality time with my family.
