As a clinical fellow in pediatric nephrology, I work with patients who have kidney disease. In my practice, I try to emphasize that the patient and their family are active participants. We are all part of the care team, share in decision-making and participate in open communication. I think the best care is provided when the family is involved and we all work together.
I have always loved science and working face to face with people. Medicine is an excellent blend of those two things! Pediatric nephrology is a wonderful field that combines in-depth scientific research and knowledge of physiology with the unique privilege of building long-term relationships. I work with patients and their families both in and out of the hospital.
I’m also an avid soccer fan and will talk to anyone at any time about the sport. Since moving to Ohio, I've adopted FC Cincinnati as my home team.
