About

Biography

As a psychiatrist in the neurobehavioral psychiatry group, I care for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and / or intellectual disability. I work in the outpatient neurobehavioral clinic and in the inpatient neurobehavioral unit. I follow patients over time in the outpatient setting for psychiatric medication management. Our team is very collaborative, and everyone is passionate about caring for children with neurodevelopment disorders.

I’ve always been interested in healthcare and working with children. My training as a child psychiatrist and pediatrician inspired me to work with children with complex psychiatric and medical needs using holistic care. I strive to provide the best care for patients and their families, being available and willing to discuss options for treatment. I enjoy following patients over time and building relationships with patients and their families.

I’m also an educator and co-assistant program director of the Triple Board Residency Program. I enjoy getting to know the trainees and assisting with their education while exploring their interests and seeing them ultimately choose their career paths.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and hanging out with family and friends.
