I am a school-based mental health clinician who works primarily with middle and high school students. I help children and adolescents navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression and life transitions while building the skills needed for long-term emotional, social and academic success.
I believe in a collaborative approach to care and partner closely with students and families to identify goals and create meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each child's unique needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), behavioral interventions and elements of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and play therapy. My goal is to help young people strengthen resilience, develop effective coping skills and better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
Since 2015, I have provided mental health support in school-based settings, working closely with families, school staff, medical providers and community partners to create consistent support systems that promote emotional well-being, healthy relationships and positive outcomes for students. I am also passionate about mentoring fellow providers and pursuing ongoing professional development to enhance the care I provide.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, golfing and cheering on my favorite teams, the Cincinnati Bengals and St. Louis Cardinals.
