I’m a pediatric emergency medicine physician. A visit to the emergency room can be very stressful for children and their families, and my goal is always to provide high-quality care in a timely manner. In addition to addressing the immediate needs of our patients and their families, I do my best to help them find the resources they need for ongoing care.
I strive for clinical excellence throughout all areas of pediatric emergency medicine. I have specific research interests in pediatric resuscitation, airway management and the efficacy of medications given before high-risk intubation.
I was drawn to a career in pediatric emergency medicine after watching others in the field provide compassionate and effective care for children and their families. My patient care philosophy is the same as my personal philosophy: treat others the way you would like to be treated.
