About

Biography

I’m a physician assistant in the Division of Hematology, where I love taking care of children. My day is full of sweet little faces and personalities, which makes working in pediatrics fun.

I’ve always been interested in medicine and helping people. My sister-in-law was a physician assistant, and her work inspired me to pursue the same path. I believe bedside manner and empathy are as important as expertise in providing good medical care. That’s why I’m always willing to go the extra mile for my patients.

Being versatile is an important skill in my work. As part of the hemophilia and bleeding disorders team, I see children with a variety of conditions. These include hemangioma, iron deficiency, neutropenia and immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). Before I came to the Division of Hematology, I worked in the Emergency Department for six years.

In my free time, I enjoy painting and remodeling homes. My husband and I have been rehabbing a historic Cincinnati home that was built in the 1890s. We also have a French bulldog who takes up a lot of my love and energy.
