As a nurse practitioner, I practice in pediatric neurology, pediatric epilepsy and epilepsy surgery.
My inspiration to become a nurse practitioner stems from my desire to promote and maintain children's health in my personal capacity as a compassionate and dedicated nurse. I was drawn to pediatric neurology because of my fascination with both the known and unknown of pediatric neuroscience. By discovering the unknown, I hope to bring a higher standard of health and wellness to future generations.
We have a large group of neurologists, epileptologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, psychologists, nurse practitioners and many others who work together to develop an individualized care plan for every child.
Seeing a child as a part of the family unit is a core principle of mine. Just as the child relies on the parent, I also understand how a parent prepares, protects and values their child's ability to thrive in life. I rely on the family to provide valuable information and collaborate with the medical team so we can effectively and efficiently bring the child health and wellness that lasts a lifetime.
In my free time, I enjoy soaking up every minute of life with my bride and daughter. I like growing my vegetable garden and landscaping my yard. I also love reading, movies and a great slice (or two) of pizza.
