I am dedicated to advancing the care of critically ill and premature newborns through clinical innovation, research and medical education. My research focuses on neonatal respiratory physiology, non-invasive mechanical ventilation, lung ultrasound, and electrical impedance tomography (EIT) to better understand and optimize respiratory care in premature infants. I am also committed to advancing general point-of-care ultrasound education and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration with a goal of full integration of ultrasound into the clinical care. I am passionate about mentoring trainees and developing the next generation of clinicians, imagineers and researchers.
