About

Biography

I am a pediatric gastroenterologist with specialized training in neurogastroenterology and motility. My clinical focus includes caring for children with a wide range of gastrointestinal motility disorders—from esophageal to anorectal dysfunction—as well as disorders of gut-brain interaction. I care for children experiencing complex feeding intolerance, chronic nausea, dysphagia, constipation, and other functional GI disorders. Using advanced diagnostic tools such as esophageal, antroduodenal, colonic and anorectal manometry and EndoFLIP, I provide individualized evaluations and treatments. I also perform therapeutic interventions including anal and pyloric botulinum toxin injections, esophageal and pyloric dilations, and pneumatic balloon dilations for achalasia.

My approach to medicine is empathetic and holistic. I believe in listening closely to families, understanding their experiences and focusing on the child’s overall well-being, not just their symptoms. My ultimate goal is to improve quality of life so children and their families can thrive as fully as possible. My passion for this work is shaped by personal experience with close family members who have special needs, which has instilled in me a deep commitment to equitable care and advocacy for families navigating similar challenges. Compassion and perspective guide my practice every day.

In my free time, I love connecting with friends and family over a meal, volunteering at my church, exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, and traveling whenever I can.
