About

Biography

I am a physician assistant in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery with a passion for pediatric cardiology, especially congenital heart defects.

Cardiology is not only academically interesting to me, but it also provides a unique combination of acute and chronic care. Pediatric cardiology allows me to develop my rapid decision-making skills and refine my problem-solving capabilities as I provide longitudinal care for my patients as they grow.

My approach is to treat patients as unique individuals, so they retain their dignity and have an excellent overall experience. I’m inspired by my patients and their families' resilience and optimism while facing stressful situations. I treat every individual with respect and look forward to getting to know their unique stories.

I was honored to be given an Academic and Clinical Achievement Award by my Physician Assistant school for my grade point average (GPA).

In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, exploring new places, and spending time with my family and friends.
