My clinical care areas are general pediatrics and adolescent medicine, including menstrual and reproductive health. I also care for children with behavioral health concerns such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety and eating disorders.
I was inspired to be a physician because I wanted to have a positive impact on the lives of others. I chose pediatrics and adolescent medicine because of the opportunity to help guide children and young adults to make healthy choices that will have an impact throughout their lives. My goal is to help them become healthy, happy adults. I enjoy partnering with patients and their caregivers as they grow and mature.
I am honored to be one of the Cincinnati Magazine Top Doctors for Adolescent Medicine for the past several years, including 2022. My peers in medicine selected me. Also, I'm a Nexplanon provider, specially trained to insert and remove this implant. I am also board certified in pediatrics (2009) and adolescent medicine (2018) by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family (husband and three sons), traveling, working on crafts and baking.
