Kristin L. Kaltenstadler, MD

My name is a mouthful, but you can call me Dr. K for short. My clinical care areas are general pediatrics and adolescent medicine, including menstrual and reproductive health. I also care for children with behavioral health concerns such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety and eating disorders. I enjoy following each child’s milestones, witnessing amazing accomplishments through the years and, of course, helping with any challenges along the way.

I was inspired to be a physician because I wanted to have a positive impact on the lives of others. I chose pediatrics and adolescent medicine because of the opportunity to guide children and young adults to make healthy choices that will impact the rest of their lives. My goal is to help them become healthy, happy adults. I enjoy partnering with patients and their caregivers as they grow and mature.

I’m board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, an area I studied during a medical fellowship that allows me to offer excellent care for teens as they go through difficult transitional years. I am honored to be one of Cincinnati Magazine’s Top Doctors for Adolescent Medicine for the past several years. My peers in medicine selected me. Also, I'm a Nexplanon provider, specially trained to insert and remove this implant.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sons.
