About

Biography

As operations director, I oversee the strategic integration of simulation into organizational training programs. I lead multidisciplinary teams in implementing simulation initiatives that support institutional goals, quality improvement efforts and accreditation standards. I am committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation while enhancing staff competency and patient outcomes. I also support faculty development, resource allocation and program evaluation to ensure the long-term sustainability and excellence of simulation-based education.

My experience in healthcare simulation has evolved through a variety of roles over the years. I was first introduced to simulation-based learning during my clinical training, where I experienced firsthand how experiential education strengthens clinical judgment, teamwork and patient safety through team safety courses, in situ programs and PALS/ACLS training.

I later served as an education specialist II and content expert in the acute care cardiology unit at Cincinnati Children’s. In that role, I helped design and facilitate simulation scenarios focused on acute care, patient safety and interprofessional collaboration, ensuring clinical realism and meaningful learning experiences.
