About

Biography

As a pediatric cardiologist, I am passionate about building trusting relationships with children and their families. I believe that the best care happens when we partner with families to navigate every step of a child’s heart journey. My approach is rooted in seeing each child as a whole person, not just focusing on the heart, but also addressing extra-cardiac issues, whether that means providing psychological care, developmental assistance, family support, or addressing social drivers of health.

My love for working with children comes from their creativity and resiliency, which made pediatrics an easy choice for me. I chose to specialize in pediatric cardiology because I am fascinated by complex cardiac physiology and value the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and families, often following them for life due to their underlying heart conditions.

Throughout my training, I have been honored to receive several awards, including Alpha Omega Alpha in 2022, the Stella Feis Hoffheimer Academic Achievement Prize, and the Dr. and Mrs. Robert Ott Academic Achievement Awards as valedictorian of my medical school class in 2023. I was also awarded the Carl Weihl Award for highest achievement in pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and the Research Innovation in Support of Excellence award for my project on outcomes of congenital heart disease deliveries.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking with my husband, exploring Cincinnati’s parks with our labradoodle, Norman, and cheering on local sports teams, especially at FC Cincinnati games.
