As a nurse practitioner in the Division of General Pediatrics, my interests include lactation consulting, and management of neurodevelopmental issues such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD). I engage families with the empathy and respect that I would want for my own family.
I was inspired to pursue my career by my first paid job at age 12, which was babysitting for the children of family and friends. I enjoyed it so much that I knew I wanted to care for children as a career.
I became a pediatric nurse practitioner after earning my Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2000. In 2008, I obtained a post-master’s degree in nursing and I hold an additional certification as a family nurse practitioner. I have enjoyed working for Cincinnati Children’s Primary Care since 2008, and I practice at Mason Primary Care.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy outdoor activities that involve snow and water.
