I provide inpatient psychiatric care for young and school-aged children, including those with oppositional and aggressive behaviors. I enjoy working in child psychiatry because I can treat a patient in many different domains. We talk about school, family, mental health, interests, strengths and struggles.
In my practice, I believe that there is always hope and potential for improvement. I lead an inpatient care team that provides "safe, stable and nurturing" care to move families out of crisis and connect them with the next steps in treatment.
I’m also the assistant program director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training program.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking and especially trying out new recipes.
