About

Biography

As a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisor endorsement (LPCC-S), I care for children and teens with mental health concerns. I work in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), providing exposure and response prevention (ERP) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

Growing up in a family of eight and spending much of my free time in team sports, I became curious about my own and others’ emotional experiences. I found people so interesting—what they laugh at, how they grieve and how they seek support. I first considered studying underwater archeology. But being “people interested” from childhood, I decided to study and work in the counseling field.

My career focus is working with children, teens and families. I find children and teens to be endlessly fascinating. As a clinical counselor, I am person-centered and devoted to helping others examine their experiences. My role is to use my gifts of empathy, emotional awareness, curiosity, and all that I have learned through my training and education to support others.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. We like going to Cincinnati festivals and markets, and just being outside looking for new plants, bugs and birds.
