I am a resident physician specializing in pediatrics, psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at Cincinnati Children’s and UC Medical Center. My interest in pediatrics began at a young age with my own pediatrician, whose kindness and attentiveness left a lasting impression on me. Even when I was sick, I looked forward to my visits because he genuinely cared about what I had to say. This early experience inspired me to pursue a career where I could make a similar impact on children's lives.
As I grew older, I became increasingly aware of the struggles many people face with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and substance use. Recognizing the critical shortage of child and adolescent psychiatrists in the United States, I felt a strong calling to address this need. My goal is to work both as a primary care pediatrician and a hospital-based child and adolescent psychiatrist, providing comprehensive care that addresses both physical and mental health.
In addition to my clinical work, I aspire to collaborate with school systems to enhance mental health education for children and adolescents. I believe that early intervention and education are key to preventing and managing mental health issues effectively.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy playing golf, cooking new dishes, running, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I enjoy exploring Cincinnati with my partner and discovering all the wonderful things this city has to offer.
