About

Biography

I am a pediatric critical care fellow at Cincinnati Children’s, where I care for children facing serious illness in the ICU. My approach to medicine centers on partnership; I believe patients and families are the most essential members of their own healthcare team. Together, we unite in the shared purpose of helping your child get better. I deeply value the relationships I build with families during their time in the ICU, and I am grateful for the trust you place in me as your physician.

Choosing pediatric critical care was a journey for me. After my pediatrics residency, I found myself drawn to many specialties, but I love that critical care allows me to be a specialized generalist in a collaborative environment. The complexity of this field pushes me to learn continuously, and I cherish the opportunity to walk alongside patients and families during some of their hardest days.

I am also passionate about medical education research. If I weren’t a doctor, I would be a teacher. Sharing knowledge is just as gratifying to me as learning something new. Developing the next generation of physicians is critically important, and I am committed to improving our medical education system for both trainees and practicing providers.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, who is also a pediatric critical care fellow. I’m a hot yoga enthusiast and love being outdoors as much as possible. You’ll often find me reading murder mystery novels on my front porch when the weather is nice.
