I’m a staff physician working in general pediatrics at Anderson Primary Care. I enjoy following patients throughout their childhood. Providing patient care over time allows me to get to know my patients and their families well, making care more consistent, which can lead to better outcomes. My care philosophy is collaborative. I like to present parents with the available information and give them choices so they have a voice in their child's care.
I’ve wanted to work in medicine since I was in first grade. Helping to care for others and teach them comes naturally to me. Children are amazing with how they develop and how resilient they are, which drew me to pediatrics. I also love parents' commitment to caring for their children and partnering with them to help find the best treatment approaches for each child.
When I’m not at work, I like to be active and enjoy time outdoors — camping, biking, hiking and traveling. I’m an avid sports enthusiast and enjoy watching professional sports, attending my children's activities and coaching soccer. I also love to read and spend time with animals.
