About Me

Biography

I have always had a passion for caring for others and for providing healing to those in need. I enjoy working with kids and believe they have a unique perspective that should be taken into consideration and valued.

As a nurse practitioner, I work with children and adolescents who have psychiatric or mental health concerns. I approach patient care with the belief that every patient has unique physical, mental and emotional needs that I treat without any personal bias or prejudice. I offer empathy, compassion and understanding to promote healing. I respect others for who they are and believe you cannot judge another person unless you have experienced everything in their life.

I’ve received the following recognition for my leadership skills, teamwork, positive attitude and dedication to family-centered care:

  • Nominated in 2019 for the Carol McKenzie Award for Excellence in Advanced Practice Nursing given for positive attitude, commitment to teamwork and clinical leadership in an outstanding professional environment
  • Nominated in 2016 for the Making a Difference Award, which rewards hard work, dedication and achievements of those individuals that go out of their way to exceed expectations

I enjoy spending free time with my supportive husband and three children.
