As a geneticist, I specialize in diagnosing and caring for children with rare diseases and genetic conditions. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a physician. What drew me to pediatrics—and genetics in particular—was the chance to help families navigate complex medical situations. I enjoy bringing a sense of fun and curiosity to the work I do with kids.
In genetics, we often work with families facing difficult questions and conditions that aren’t well understood. My approach is to treat each patient holistically. I see myself as a partner to your child’s primary care provider. We work together to coordinate care for your child’s whole body as they grow.
Genetics may seem overwhelming at first. It’s my job to make it understandable and actionable so you feel informed every step of the way.
During my medical training, I received several awards for teaching and patient advocacy. These honors reflect my commitment to supporting families and mentoring future physicians.
Alongside my clinical work, I’m involved in research around rare diseases. My goal is to share new findings with other providers and families to help spot patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed. This way, we can make the diagnostic and treatment journey a little easier for the next patient.
In my free time, I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, swimming, escape rooms, reading and video games.
