I am a nurse practitioner specializing in heart failure, cardiomyopathy and heart transplants. When I was a child, I was constantly in and out of my pediatrician's office due to an autoimmune disease. My provider was a nurse practitioner, whom I loved. She made me comfortable at every visit. As a result of my experiences, I learned that I wanted to help kids the way she helped me.
Each patient is different, as should our approach be to every child. No disease process manifests the same way in each person, so our treatment should be unique to every child. At Cincinnati Children’s, we are heavily invested in your child. Being in the hospital is often when we see kids at their worst. Please know that we understand this is a difficult time for you, and we will try to make your visit here as smooth as possible. We work around the clock to ensure your child's safety, and we are always here when support is needed.
I’m honored to have received five Daisy Award nominations as a bedside nurse. I just started in my new role as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), and there’s always something new to strive for!
In my free time, I love doing anything sports-related. I’m a huge fan of Cincinnati sports, especially football. You'll see me at many University of Cincinnati Bearcats or Cincinnati Bengals home games. Don't forget about the Cincinnati Reds and FCC, too!
