I practice general pediatrics and am committed to treating every patient with respect and compassion as they pursue both physical and emotional health.
I have always felt that I’m the best version of myself when I am helping others. As an undergraduate at the University of Kentucky, I was fortunate to be involved in medical missions in Kentucky and the Dominican Republic. I also completed a clinical rotation at a mission hospital in Bomet, Kenya. These experiences solidified for me that the best way that I can be of service to others is through practicing medicine.
I’ve always enjoyed interacting with children. They are entertaining, intelligent, funny and honest in a way that is truly unique. While doing a clinical rotation at a local emergency department, I noticed an interesting trend. I was working with patients of all ages but when caring for children I felt the happiest and most inspired. I knew I had found the area of medicine that was the best fit for me.
When I’m not working, I enjoy going on adventures with my husband, our young daughter and our Goldendoodle dog. We love hiking, gardening, sitting on the front porch and generally anything outdoors!
