About Me

I can't remember a time that I didn't want to be in the medical profession. I love kids for their resilience and their ability to smile and laugh despite what they may be going through. And, of course, for their hugs! Working with children and their families is so rewarding. I hope that I make a difference in their journey.

As a nurse practitioner, I have cared for children and adolescents in our Division of Craniofacial Disorders and Plastic Surgery for the last several years. Before that, I was with the Division of Neurosurgery for eight years. I see patients in the hospital and for outpatient follow-up care.

I believe that all kids and their families deserve our best care, along with our best efforts to make them feel comfortable. They also deserve to be listened to and have their opinions heard. Compassion and a big smile go a long way.

In my free time, I now travel all over the world. With our children grown, my husband and I hike, backpack and scuba dive whenever we can. Exploring new places, cultures and meeting new people are my passions!
