As a child, I was a patient at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. That experience inspired me to become a nurse practitioner and to work with children.
As a general and thoracic surgery specialist, I meet patients and families at their level. I work to find out how they feel and how they interpret their illness. Whatever the starting point, I provide the information and education my patients and families need.
I strive to build an emotional connection with my patients. I can sympathize with what they’re going through as I had similar experiences as a patient at Cincinnati Children’s.
I’m honored to be a recipient of the Star 93.3 Shining Star Award for my inner-city work.
When not at work, I love woodworking and building things, but mostly I love spending time with my kids.
