About

Biography

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, and I received my Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Cincinnati. I'm a nurse practitioner (NP) specializing in pediatric primary care for the past 25 years.

Meeting families where they are in life is valuable. Raising my children has created a personal understanding and appreciation for parenting. I have four kids and four bonus kids. My care approach is friendly and playful to help little ones feel comfortable during their exams.

My desire to help others began when I was eight, and I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I have always enjoyed children because they are amazing humans. I decided to advance my career by pursuing higher education and becoming a nurse practitioner. Also, I liked the idea of autonomously managing patient care while developing consistent relationships with families.

I genuinely feel privileged to help parents care for their children. I've had patients say that I am detail-oriented, thorough and personable. I believe respect and kindness go a long way in life. I enjoy providing generalized pediatric care and guidance. Listening to parents is essential because they know their kids better than anyone.

I am board-certified as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. I am an active member of the Ohio and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

When I'm not working, I enjoy anything outdoors, especially hiking. I like to travel, even for a weekend trip. I'm actively involved in my church and local school community. One fun fact to share is that I've tandem-jumped out of a plane twice in the past two years and loved it. My worst fear is snakes! My motto is to leave a footprint that betters tomorrow.
