About

Biography

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with a passion for supporting high school students as they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence. My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, which means I recognize the unique experiences each student brings and strive to create a safe space where they feel seen, heard and valued. I often integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help students develop practical skills for managing stress, regulating emotions, and improving relationships. My goal is to empower young people to build on their strengths and work toward their personal goals.

I believe strongly in the power of relationships and work closely with students, families and school staff to build trust and provide meaningful support. What inspires me most is watching students set goals for their future and being able to support them as they take steps toward achieving those milestones. I became a therapist because I have always had a strong desire to help others, and I truly enjoy being part of someone’s journey toward growth and self-improvement. It is a privilege to walk alongside teens as they build resilience and work toward becoming the best version of themselves.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and organizing, which I find both calming and rewarding. I also love winding down by watching TV as a way to relax and recharge.
