I specialize in adolescent mental health, with a focus on anxiety, trauma and depression. My approach is rooted in prevention, teaching healthy skills now to help prevent future issues from arising. I believe in showing up authentically as myself, because building genuine rapport is the foundation for strong relationships and effective care. I want every adolescent I work with to feel safe exploring the challenges they face, so together we can build skills that support their growth and well-being.
My career path was inspired by my experience in adult community addictions and mental health. I saw firsthand the impact that a lack of access to support and therapy from a young age can have later in life. Teenagers are often misunderstood, but I believe they are at a unique and important stage, and they deserve support as they become who they want to be. My goal is to be a safe place for them, helping them navigate their journey and prevent unhealthy outcomes.
Outside of work, I’m a hobbyist, always eager to learn something new. Recently, I’ve picked up sewing and needlepoint, and I love to read, garden and care for houseplants. Staying active is important to me, so I spend time at the gym and enjoy hiking with my two dogs, who I absolutely adore.
