I believe in treating each patient as a whole person, and not just as the sum of their parts. This means I listen to every concern of my patients and their families. I strive to keep my patients’ best interests in mind at all times.

As a pediatric critical care nurse practitioner, I enjoy working in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) or out on the floor responding to a request for a medical response team.

My dad inspired me to help others. He lives with a pediatric-diagnosed chronic health condition. I enjoy working with children because they are so resilient. I think children are the strongest people you’ll ever meet.

My research focuses on improving communication and assessing social needs in the pediatric ICU.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our pets. Many people don't know that I am an 8-year veteran of the U.S. Army. I once went skydiving with the Army Golden Knights.
