My clinical specialties are general pediatrics and genetics. I strive to meet every patient and family at their level of understanding to communicate and teach them about their health in a way that offers comfort and makes sense to them. I’m happy to work with any family on what is important to them and their health.
Genetics and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) are the building blocks of the human body. My interest in this field stems from knowing that excellent healthcare during pregnancy, gestation and childhood is the foundation for a healthy long life. I love providing care to children and informing families who want what is best for their kids.
I’m also a researcher interested in interpreting variants in genetic diseases and providing closure to families with uncertain diagnoses.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and my two pet birds, knitting, horseback riding and playing board games.
