Pediatric hematology/oncology; solid tumor and leukemia/lymphoma

Research Interests

Using a new mouse model to better characterize the progression of plexiform neurofibromas to malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors in patients/mice with NF1; combining a Mek-inhibitor and CDK4/6 inhibitor for a new therapeutic study in this mouse model; will be studying the immune micro-environment of these tumors and how they change with malignant transformation as well as correlate response to drug therapy
