About

Biography

I am a pediatric cardiac critical care attending who also cares for children and young adults with ventricular-assist devices. I want to support parents and families advocating for their sick children by providing the best clinical care possible. Paramount to that care is effective communication and partnering with the family to ensure they are active members of the care team.

I have always wanted to work with children in the critical care setting. During my first fellowship in pediatric critical care, I was inspired by my patients to pursue further training in pediatric cardiology.

In my research, I aim to improve outcomes in children requiring mechanical circulatory support by reducing complications and optimizing care.
