Austyn L. Ritchie, MSN, APRN-CNP, PNP-AC

I’m a pediatric nurse practitioner in the pulmonary medicine division at Cincinnati Children’s. My focus is on caring for children and adolescents who have complex respiratory conditions, including those who depend on tracheostomy tubes and ventilators.

Working with these patients is incredibly meaningful to me. Their strength and perseverance through difficult circumstances constantly remind me why I chose this profession. Helping them make progress, gain independence, and eventually return home is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job.

I strive to deliver care that supports the whole child and family. Because respiratory health connects to every system in the body, I collaborate closely with other specialties to make sure each patient receives coordinated, comprehensive treatment.

When I’m not at the hospital, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my dog, Hershey.
