I am a clinical fellow specializing in pediatric endocrinology. Every patient and family has different goals and needs. I aim to partner with families, providing support and knowledge to empower them to reach their health goals in a sustainable way.
The fact that endocrinologists work closely with patients and their families throughout childhood and adolescence inspired me to choose endocrinology. Helping kids grow and develop to reach their healthiest potential is very rewarding.
As a researcher, I’m especially interested in obesity prevention and treatment. I recognize that pediatric obesity is a growing challenge that can lead to type 2 diabetes and a number of other chronic medical conditions. I’m interested in how we can best care for children and adolescents with obesity to promote their long-term health.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy running, hiking, reading, and spending time with my husband and our dog.
