I am a clinical social worker that has been with the organization since 2019 working with our neurodevelopmental population to work through a variety of difficulties such as tantrums, noncompliance, caregiver training, anxiety, depression, other mood concerns, task avoidance, activities of daily living (ADLs), social skills and family relational issues. My favorite part of my job is getting the privilege to help patients and families and witness their successful outcomes.
Our team offers brief behavioral therapy with caregiver training focus at multiple Cincinnati Children’s campuses. We are part of a larger multidisciplinary continuum of care including inpatient, psychiatry, group, and care coordination treatment. We serve youth with neurodevelopmental diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, genetic syndromes, and intellectual disabilities who are also experiencing mental health or behavioral concerns. We use evidence-based models of applied behavioral analysis, RUBI parent training, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, PEERS social skills training, and family therapy. We offer brief family-based behavioral therapy support.
Cincinnati Children's strives to accept a wide variety of health plans. Please contact your health insurance carrier to verify coverage for your specific benefit plan.
