About

Biography

I’m a cardiology fellow specializing in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiology. It is crucial to provide well-rounded care, which includes educating patients and families to help them understand our treatment approach. This demystifies our logic and helps patients understand the reasoning behind our decision-making.

My interest in cardiology stems from the ability to care for patients and families throughout their lives while they live with a chronic congenital cardiac condition. It’s essential to create a comfortable medical home for patients with complex heart disease where they can ask questions and learn about their condition and the importance of disease management.

I’m honored to be a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. This society requires its members to be nominated within an organization that values the "human connection" in medical and compassionate care.

When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking in national parks, walking my dog and riding roller coasters.
