Maradith Skalak's research interests include neurodevelopmental outcomes and quality improvement. Her current research project involves investigating the use of brain MRI to predict neurodevelopmental impairment in preterm infants. She is also a part of a collaborative quality improvement group working to reduce mortality of extremely low birth weight infants at the University of Cincinnati NICU.
