About
Biography
When I went to nursing school, I knew that I only wanted to work with kids, and that I wanted to pursue an advanced nursing degree. After working in inpatient pediatrics for six years, I went to graduate school to get my degree as an advanced practice registered nurse or nurse practitioner. In graduate school, I was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honor society.
I like to incorporate lots of teaching into my care approach and involve both kids and their families. I speak fluent Spanish and have worked with the Hispanic population for more than 30 years. I love being able to get to know families and watch kids grow up!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking and exercising.
