About

Biography

I am a postdoctoral research fellow local to Cincinnati. I joined the Collins Lab after completing my PhD in pathobiology and molecular medicine from UC. My underlying research interests involve understanding the mechanisms of cellular crosstalk that mediate the pathogenesis of human diseases. I am currently pursuing this passion by investigating how the fetal liver hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell niche responds to maternal inflammation, and thereby influences the response of these HSPCs and their ability to engage in emergency myelopoiesis. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, two toddlers, and our dogs, or staying in and playing Mario Kart.
