Tyler M. Spivey, MD

As a resident in the Child Neurology/Pediatrics Combined Residency Program, I will be specializing in neurology for the next few years. My ultimate goal is to become a child neurologist.

When children become sick, it is through no fault of their own. I believe we must do everything to help them to grow to their full potential. Neurological diseases can be devastating, but with every day that passes, we learn more about the brain and disorders that affect it.

I do my best to connect with my patient and their family and ensure they know that they are a part of the medical team. This means that their thoughts, input and questions are very important to the care of their child.

I enjoy spending my free time outside — running, biking or hiking with my dog. I love a good book and I’m always excited to try a new restaurant.
