My Biography & Research

As a pediatric anesthesiologist, I’m what some of my patients call a sleep doctor. I care for children who need surgery, to ensure they do not feel pain. I specialize in providing sedation for children receiving a transplant.

I want my patients and their families to know that I provide safe, kind and personalized care.

Experiences during my medical school rotation through pediatrics showed me I was a natural with children. They bring out the best in me — so I became a pediatrician.

I’m always honored by the letters I receive from my patients. They mean a lot more to me than awards.

In my free time, I like to read and try to play the guitar. If we lived by the ocean, I'd go sailing a lot. I love hanging out with my family.
