As a pediatric nurse practitioner, I work in the following surgical areas: pediatric surgery, urology, gynecology, plastics, orthopedics, otolaryngology and the medical Division of Gastroenterology. I care for each patient and family as if they were my own. Being genuine, empathetic and honest in every situation is what I strive for with every clinical opportunity.
I have worked in the area of pediatrics for more than 30 years. With time, my clinical interest became more focused on a provider role. With the support of my family and many of my medical colleagues, I obtained my advanced degree in Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner. In 2020, I was nominated for a Cincinnati Children’s Daisy Award, which is a special recognition of outstanding clinical skills, compassionate care and commitment to excellence.
Ensuring the best care for children has been my passion at Cincinnati Children's. I have the honor of being part of a unique Advanced Practice Provider surgical team at the Liberty Campus that helps manage the diverse, challenging care of children from several surgical and medical specialties. It is rewarding to work with such incredible patients, families and colleagues.
In my free time, I most enjoy being with my family. I love to travel, especially to national parks. I also love simple pleasures at home, such as board games, trivia, gardening or just relaxing around a bonfire. My husband and son play the guitar. Listening to them play, with my daughter also participating, are cherished moments.
