Richard J. Taylor III, MD

As a pediatric gastroenterologist, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, personalized care for children of all backgrounds and medical needs. Whether a child is experiencing a common digestive issue or a complex condition, I believe every patient deserves thoughtful, personalized care —and every family deserves to be heard and supported.

My clinical and research interests center on eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, including eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), eosinophilic gastritis (EoG), eosinophilic disease of the small intestine (EoN), and eosinophilic colitis (EoC). I strive to stay at the forefront of care and have received specialized training in sedation-free transnasal endoscopy, a technique that enhances comfort and safety for patients. My research in eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.

Beyond clinical care and research, I am passionate about medical education. I enjoy mentoring students, residents, and fellows, and I believe teaching not only shapes the next generation of physicians—it also sharpens my own practice. Whether in the clinic or the classroom, I aim to foster curiosity, compassion, and excellence.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and our two children exploring all the wonderful activities Cincinnati has to offer. We also enjoy traveling and attending sporting events together.
