I have always believed in the importance of healthcare that treats the whole child, which includes caring for a child’s mental and behavioral health. As a pediatric psychologist, I work with patients ranging in age from infancy to young adults, and I specialize in treating patients with traumatic brain injury ranging across all severity levels from concussions through more severe injuries.
It’s my belief that optimal patient healthcare is delivered by a cohesive team of providers from multiple disciplines or specialties. I am passionate about reducing barriers to care by integrating evidence-based behavioral health services into standard medical clinic care.
I enjoy getting to know patients and their families and providing evidence-based psychological treatments that take into account the individual aspects of the patient and their family.
Primarily, I use cognitive-behavioral and behavioral interventions. I tend to draw from parent management training, exposure-based and dialectical behavioral therapies. In addition to cognitive-behavioral and behavioral approaches, I also rely on a family-systems perspective and my background in developmental psychology.
In my free time, I enjoy being active outdoors in the Cincinnati area.
