Biography
I’m a child psychiatrist who works in inpatient adolescent psychiatry. I enjoy working with young people and their families to support fulfilling their potential and leading happy lives.
During my training in primary care and psychiatry, I saw children with mental healthcare needs. Working with children and their families and seeing their problems and strengths helped me determine a unified treatment approach to address their concerns.
I try to form a common view of the patient with their parents and guide them toward getting children back on healthy developmental tracks. It’s rewarding to see children and adolescents grow despite setbacks and recover from mental illness.
I also supervise child psychiatry fellows who are learning treatments for adolescents with substance use.
In my free time, I enjoy road and mountain biking.
