I’m a physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
My pediatric care philosophy begins with gaining a child's trust and then navigating their medical concerns together with their family. Children benefit from fun and playful relationships, which is where I like to start my care. I believe we can work together on a treatment plan after I learn about my patients and how they interact best. The playfulness and resiliency that comes with working in pediatrics is something I have always appreciated.
I attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health science. While completing my undergraduate studies I also competed on the Division I University of Cincinnati Swimming & Diving Program. I pursued my physician assistant (PA) training in Cincinnati at Mount St. Joseph University. While in PA school, I received the Sister Anthony O'Connell Community Service Award, presented to a student who exemplifies professionalism, empathy and an attitude of service to others.
In my spare time, I volunteer with my mini goldendoodle Bentley to provide pet therapy at local hospitals and schools.
