About Me

Biography

I’m an advanced practice registered nurse who works in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP) at Cincinnati Children’s. I love working with this population because they bring such a light to the world. Every child I meet is unique and has incredible strength and resiliency. They continue to teach me something new every day.

I’ve known since I was young that I wanted to be a nurse. After finishing nursing school, I decided to work specifically in pediatrics. I originally started my career as a pediatric nurse in inpatient cardiology at Cincinnati Children’s. During my Master of Nursing program, I had the opportunity to be part of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program. The relationships and knowledge I gained from my fellowship led me to be a nurse practitioner within DDBP.

In my practice, I tell families that my main goal for every child is to be happy, healthy and reach their fullest potential. I’m here to help them through their journey — to celebrate all the highs and work through the difficult seasons of life.

I believe that every patient is a unique individual. My approach is to listen to every family and hear their concerns. I try to guide treatment plans that fit their child, as well as their entire family. There’s no "one size fits most" treatment plan when working with children with developmental disabilities.

In my free time, I love traveling, both domestically and abroad. I also enjoy watching Ohio State Buckeye football and hiking with my husband and our dog, Bear.
