About

Biography

My clinical specialties are pediatrics and child and adolescent psychiatry. I aspire to learn what matters most to families and patients and collaborate with them to find ways to reach these goals. There can be much diagnostic uncertainty when working with patients with psychiatric illness. It’s essential for me to work with families and patients through this uncertainty and focus on alleviating symptoms they have that negatively affect their quality of life.

I was inspired to go into medicine, and specifically pediatrics, when I volunteered at Cincinnati Children’s as a high school student. I loved spending time with kids who were visiting the hospital for appointments and helping to normalize their experience with healthcare. My passion for child psychiatry developed when I was in medical school. I valued the extra time psychiatric providers took to discuss quality of life and what was important to the patient and their family.

My husband and I were both born and raised in Cincinnati, and it is a privilege to practice medicine in the city I call home. We are huge FC Cincinnati supporters, watching this team grow from its start in the United Soccer League (USL) to the top of the Major League Soccer (MLS) division has been a blast!
