I’m a therapist specializing in treating children with anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism and trauma, as well as the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, plus (LGBTQ+) community. My care philosophy is to approach each client holistically and see their care from the perspective of the whole person.
My teaching experience showed me that there is a need for collaborative work with mental health and education. This has been a passion of mine, and I am happy I can work to make it a reality. I approach therapy from a cognitive behavioral framework, which means that I work to address thoughts, emotions and behaviors and how they interact and influence each other.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy attending and being involved in theater, traveling and learning about new technology. During the Christmas season, I run a fundraiser for children of widows to provide holiday gifts.
